About This Event

 

The first free online webinar entitled “The Efficiency of Solar Panels” on the 24th April 6:00-7:00 PM (GMT+3), organised by University of Mosul in collaboration with Teesside University. An overview of the efficiency of solar panels and the techniques used to manufacture solar cells will be provided. This webinar is suited for any individual interested in renewable energy and sustainability.

This event is organised as an activity of the joint project ‘Solar Energy for a Decarbonised Future – Knowledge Transfer for Environmental Education and Awareness (SolAware)’ project, which is supported by the British Council, Research Environments Grants 2023-24.

The speaker will firstly, highlight the Importance of the Term “Energy Transformation and the Difference Between the Nominal Power in addition to the Efficiency of Solar Panels”. The development of the efficiency of the solar panels and fabrication techniques will be discussed in details. Finally, is a discussion of the challenges of using solar panels and technical suggestions in the region of Iraq.
