Summer-2025 Student Projects Progress

We are excited to share the progress of our student summer projects, where innovation and sustainability are taking shape.

This summer, our talented students at the University of Mosul have begun working on several cutting-edge projects, including:

  • Portable Solar Energy Station: Aimed at creating a reliable, renewable charging solution range of applications.
  • Solar-Powered Smart Car: Integrating solar technology and intelligent control systems to build an efficient, eco-friendly vehicle.
  • Hybrid energy system based on recycled materials for producing electricity.
  • Hybrid-Green Energy
  • Autonomous Vehicle Powered by Solar Energy

These projects are a crucial component of the follow-up SOLAWRAE Project, a collaborative initiative between the University of Mosul and Teesside University, generously funded by the British Council. Through this partnership, our students are gaining hands-on experience, applying their knowledge to real-world challenges, and contributing to a sustainable future powered by solar energy. To ensure smooth progress and effective collaboration, both virtual and face-to-face meetings have been held between the students and supervisors.
